Biochemistry

The CFG Biochemistry Laboratory provides instrumentation to enable the biochemical characterization of proteins and nucleic acids. This instrumentation is available to investigators on a fee-for-use basis.

Major instrumentation:

• AKTA Explorer HPLC system (Amersham Pharmacia)
• VP-ITC MicroCalorimeter (MicroCal)
• Lambda 40 UV/Vis Spectrophotometer (Perkin Elmer) with PTP6 Peltier temperature programmer
• RF-5301PC Spectrofluorophotometer (Shimadzu)
• Micromass Q-TOF Mass Spectrometer
